pangea.js
We wrote this lightweight library to choreograph entrances and exits between pages of the site using CSS animations and minimal JavaScript without the performance overhead of creating a single-page app.
Our team worked with Albert Wenger to produce a web presence for his new book. Readers engage in an interactive experience that promotes the book’s provocative yet accessible thesis.
Minimill created a site that perfectly reflected my goals for World After Capital. They did so rapidly and with minimal effort on my part. I highly recommend their service. Albert Wenger Author, World After Capital Partner, Union Square Ventures
Albert’s vision for World After Capital was to maximize accessibility and transparency for economics professors and laypeople, alike. We wanted to achieve inclusivity while making the reading experience online as fulfilling as a hardcover. This vision was ultimately achieved through an clean-and-clear web interfaces and an open-sourced product delivery with our partners at GitBook.
This site set out to be as inspiring as the book. We developed a host of new interactions that keep visitors engaged before and after they read World After Capital. These transitions gracefully introduce new supporting content from page to page, all the while directing readers to the book itself.
The World After Capital sub-brand supports the content, but does not overpower it. We focused on keywords such as friendly, simple, inspiring that surfaced during a collaborative brand discovery session. The lively colors drive the motivational atmosphere of the site, while distinguished typography solidifies its authority.
